The Ministry Of Land and Housing, Nasarawa State, Nigeria has awarded Sivan Design a contract for the design, installation & implementation of Nasarawa Geographic Information System (NAGIS). The goal of NAGIS is computerization and automation of land and properties title registration, taxation, budget planning and control.
The scope of work includes:
- Supply and installation of the most recent branded computer hardware, software, peripheral equipment and accessories
- Design, creation, analysis and manipulation of functional spatial database at the ministry headquarter premises in Lafia city Nasarawa State
- Complete system installation, implementation and testing including hardware, software and peripherals
- Connect the NAGIS system to the Federal Land Information System (FELIS) developed by Sivan Design in 2006
- Supply and setup of VSAT broadband internet connection
- Guidance, training and management services for the conversion of existing land registry analog maps and title documents in the Registry to digital format
- Maintenance and support services
